Privacy Policy

RememberAdate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by SimplySync AI. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the RememberAdate service (“the Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address (used for authentication via one-time passcode login) and any optional name or profile information you choose to provide.

2.2 Phone Number

We collect your phone number to protect the one-trial-per-person limit and, only when you choose those methods, to deliver SMS or AI voice-call reminders. Providing a number does not by itself enroll you in text messages.

2.3 Reminder and Event Content

We store the reminders, tasks, events, and notes you create within the Service. This content is necessary to deliver your reminders on time. You control this content and can delete it at any time.

2.4 Voice Recordings (Della Voice Feature)

When you choose the Della voice feature, your audio and resulting transcript are processed by RememberAdate and our voice and AI service providers to understand your request, respond, and create the reminder you approve. We retain reminder content and operational records as described below. Provider-side audio or transcript retention follows our configuration, provider terms, security needs, and applicable law; we do not promise that every provider discards audio immediately after transcription.

2.5 Device Contacts (Event Invitations)

The Service may request access to device contacts only when you choose a person for an event invitation. We access contacts only after you grant device permission. Contact details are used to fill the invitation and are stored only when you choose to save or send that invitation. Helper invitations use the helper details you enter or select and require the helper's separate acceptance.

2.6 Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, your device generates a push notification token that we store in order to deliver notifications to your device. This token is specific to your device and app installation.

2.7 Location and Helper Arrival Information

Location features are optional. If you choose Helper Arrival, we may collect the appointment address and destination coordinates, your device's precise location and accuracy while that appointment trip is active, timestamps, distance and estimated-arrival information, and your arrival confirmation. Background location is requested only when needed for an appointment trip you choose to share. If you decline background or precise location permission, you may still use manual arrival updates.

For live Helper Arrival, we keep only the latest reported device coordinate; each new update replaces the previous one. We do not create or retain a breadcrumb-style travel history. The latest coordinate is cleared when you confirm arrival, stop the update, sign out, or the appointment window expires.

2.8 Usage and Technical Data

We may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and app usage logs to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We use your information to:

• Deliver reminders via text message, email, push notification, and AI voice call
• Provide appointment-only Helper Arrival status, distance, and estimated-arrival updates when you enable that feature
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Verify and maintain subscriptions purchased through Stripe or Apple
• Send transactional account emails (subscription confirmations, billing receipts, password links)
• Provide customer support when you contact us
• Monitor and improve service reliability and performance

We do not use your reminder content or personal information for advertising. Our use of AI providers is limited to operating the features you request and is subject to our provider settings and agreements.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the third-party service providers listed below, strictly to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database and authentication. Your account data, reminder content, and profile information are stored in Supabase's infrastructure (hosted on AWS).
• AI Providers — AI chat (Della) and voice transcription. When you interact with the Della AI assistant or use the voice feature, your text input or transcribed voice content is sent to an AI provider to generate a response. Provider processing and retention are governed by our account configuration, applicable provider terms, and data-protection commitments.
• GoHighLevel — reminder delivery infrastructure for email, SMS, and AI voice calls. Your name, phone number, email address, and reminder content are shared with GoHighLevel as needed to schedule and deliver your reminders.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and handles your payment card information directly. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of payment data.
• Apple — iOS in-app subscription processing. Apple handles your Apple ID payment details. We receive signed transaction identifiers, product, status, and expiration information so we can verify and provide the plan you purchased; we do not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.
• Twilio — SMS and voice call delivery. Your phone number and reminder message content are passed to Twilio to send text messages and make AI voice reminder calls.
• Mapbox — address lookup, route distance, and estimated travel time for Location Helper and Helper Arrival. When an active trip requests an estimate, the latest device coordinate and appointment destination are sent to Mapbox for that calculation.
• Google Maps — map display and directions links. Opening a map or directions link may provide the displayed location to Google under Google's own privacy terms.

We require service providers to handle personal information only for authorized business purposes and with appropriate safeguards, subject to their applicable terms and our agreements with them.

4.1 Trusted Helpers

When you enable Helper Arrival, the trusted helper you select receives a private, appointment-specific link that may display your latest location, distance, estimated arrival time, destination, and arrival status. Helper links use random access tokens, are stored as one-way hashes, and expire automatically after the appointment. Anyone who obtains an active link may be able to view that update, so helpers should not forward or publish it. Removing helper access prevents further authorized access.

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Data stored in our database is encrypted at rest. We use authentication best practices including one-time passcodes and secure session tokens.

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@rememberadate.com.

We retain your account data and reminder content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual reminders, tasks, and events at any time from within the Service.

Appointment destinations and status records are retained with the related reminder or account record. A live Helper Arrival coordinate is overwritten by the next update and cleared when sharing stops. Private helper links generally expire within one hour after the appointment window or final status. Audit logs may record that tracking started, stopped, or a helper link was opened, but do not contain the helper-link token or a history of exact device coordinates.

You can permanently delete your account from Settings in the RememberAdate app or dashboard. The deletion flow cancels active website billing and removes the account and associated customer content. An Apple subscription must be canceled separately in App Store subscription settings before deletion. We may retain limited payment, security, consent, opt-out, fraud-prevention, or legal records when required or permitted by law; retained records are restricted to those purposes. The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly permit minors to create or use accounts. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us and we will investigate and delete it as appropriate.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

By providing your phone number and opting in to text reminders, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by updating your notification settings in the dashboard. See our SMS Messaging Policy for full details.

You decide whether to enable Helper Arrival for each appointment. You can deny precise or background location permission, use a manual arrival update instead, stop an active appointment update in the Service, or revoke location permission in your device settings. Location access is not required for unrelated reminder, task, email, or dashboard features.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
